Senior Dances - Age Well Services

Twice a month, on Thu afternoons from 11:30 - 2:30pm, the San Diego Park and Recreation Dept hosts a dance in the Balboa Park Club Ballroom for only $5. John Nagel, from the Balboa Park Dancers teaches ballroom dances from 11:30am-12:30pm. Live music from 12:30-2:30pm.

Most of the time it will be a live band with an occasional DJ. See below for theme & band.

Thu Jan 23, 2025 11:30 - 2:30pm Chinese New Years theme. Celebrate the year of the Snake. Music by “Janet Hammer’s Rhythm Express”. 11:30am John Nagel teaching Viennese Waltz Night Club Two Step.

Thu Feb 27, 2025, 2024 11:30 - 2:30pm Garden Party theme. Wear your garden attire while enjoying the rhythms of “Blue Zone”. 11:30am John Nagel teaching Waltz and Rumba.
